Lawful, licensed, confidential. Termination of pregnancy at Pai Hospital is carried out lawfully under the Medical Termination of Pregnancy Act, 1971 (as amended), at a licensed facility, by registered medical practitioners, within the limits and the certification that the Act requires. We do not carry out or offer sex determination of any kind, at any stage, for any reason. Your identity and your treatment are confidential.
Pai Hospital is one hospital with one operating theatre and one IVF laboratory, both at Vaddem, Vasco-da-Gama. Fertility treatment, termination of pregnancy, gynaecological surgery and pregnancy care are all carried out here, by the same doctor who consults with you.
Fertility & IVF
Fertility investigation and treatment for both partners, including IUI, IVF, ICSI and male infertility treatment including micro-TESE, in the hospital's own embryology laboratory.
Abortion services (MTP)
Termination of pregnancy, medical and surgical, lawful under the MTP Act, at a licensed facility — and completely private. Three registered doctors on staff mean the second opinion the law asks for beyond a certain stage is given here, on the same visit. No one else's permission is needed, married or unmarried, and nothing about a visit is discussed outside the room.
Gynaecological surgery
Laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery for fibroids, ovarian cysts, endometriosis and adhesions; hysterectomy, including the scarless vaginal route; myomectomy for fibroids where the uterus is kept; and hysteroscopy.
Pregnancy care
Routine and high-risk pregnancy care, including the specific conditions that need closer monitoring during pregnancy, and contraception and family planning once you are ready to plan ahead.
Why one address, one doctor
Investigations, procedures, surgery and follow-up all happen in this one building, with the doctor you first consult. Nothing is split across a referral chain to a different hospital or a different specialist unless your situation genuinely needs it.
Travelling to us
The hospital runs its own cars. We send a car for you and bring you home again, free of cost — from Panjim, Margao, Mapusa or anywhere else in Goa, and from across the border in Karnataka and Maharashtra. Patients also travel from other states and from the Gulf specifically for treatment here.
Is everything done at one hospital?
Yes. The operating theatre and the IVF laboratory are both at Vaddem, Vasco-da-Gama, and that is where every procedure, scan and admission happens.
Do you treat both fertility issues and gynaecological conditions?
